Beautiful Crime

Bloggers who act like Journos, but look down on Journos and who have their own code of conduct often use the word DISCLAIMER to flag up some vested interested in the start-up or up-start they are writing about it.

DISCLAIMER: I whore my writing skills at Beautiful Crime a really rather clever site about urban contemporary art and culture. Actually I own it.

Beautiful Crime is a nifty little creation, built on Wordpress it’s primarily a blog, but with a little more guts than your average blog thanks to the inclusion and customization of a FriendFeed room aggregating the best pictures and writing on the scene from the web.

The thinking is, ‘why visit 10 sites when you can just visit one and see all the activity on the other sites and get some added witty critique aswell?’

FriendFeed is a hugely powerful tool and I think the combination of a Room with a blog, which uses the feed as a news feed and comments on stories within it, creates a truly rich media platform.
