This was one of the most intelligent responses to the topic I have ever seen, and I couldn’t agree more. Although I’m sure it’s appreciated by half the population, a topless locker room scene in a film cheapens the experience when it is merely a desperation grasp to appeal, or to do so just because it can. Scenes that show much more but also lend to the story, can’t help but enrich the medium. I never took the time to think about all of the angles of sexuality’s relation in the gaming world, or about its place in the future, but I think you’ve nailed its why and why nots on the head. Very well said.
